The Family History Group will:
a. Help get people started with Family History research. The experienced users have agreed to help absolute beginners with one-to-one sessions to get them going.
b. Discuss various software packages for recording the results of research
c. Discuss various on-line sites for searching for ancestors
d. Exchange of ideas and knowledge about Family History Research
e. Arrange talks on specialist subjects e.g. reading old wills; military history; etc.
COST: The room costs £13.50 to hire and we have decided to ask people to pay £5 when they first come, and when that's all gone, we'll ask for some more.
