BOWLS is a great game for physical and mental health. It can be played by everyone and is known to improve fitness, muscle strength (arm, shoulder, leg muscles), and flexibility. It is a low risk physical activity, because it is low impact. In addition it involves some element of problem solving skills and helps improve co-ordination and concentration. The bowls season at Malmesbury Bowls and Social Club starts after Easter when the green is formally opened (around mid-April) and finishes at the end of September. Anyone who is interested or wants further information should contact the Group Leader - Aileen Bates Bowlers are a very friendly crowd ‐ we look forward to welcoming U3A members to the Club. |
